I started my journey at Praxair as an electrical and production engineer in a small CO2 plant. Pretty soon, based on my early success, the organization offered me varied assignments in the production area and exposed me to the incredible career potential at the company.
Today I manage the ASU plant (capacity 2600 tons) and I’m responsible for plant operations, safety, maintenance, distribution, location HR, accounts, budgeting, and managing customer relationships. It’s the multifunctional dimension of this role that I truly enjoy.
A particularly telling moment was, a few years ago, when we had a problem at a plant, I was brought in to assemble a team, analyze the challenge, suggest a solution and then implement the plan. It was a big responsibility, this showed the level of faith Praxair had in my abilities and in my teams trust in letting me make those critical decisions.
I am a living proof that when you work at Praxair, and have mastered a skill set within the organization, you have every opportunity to move to the next level and grow. I have so much faith in Praxair because the company has demonstrated so much faith in me.
