When I began my career at Praxair five years ago, I was fortunate enough to have people within the company who stood for my success. To this day, I am still supported by my colleagues and my mentor.
Working with a healthy degree of freedom and having the ability to make decisions independently are hallmarks of working at Praxair. I feel this not only makes you more responsible and accountable, but gives you the experience you need to handle the day-to-day pressures that come from representing a high-performing organization.
Presently, I head the Customer Service Group for West Zone and our team works to support the installation and maintenance of at customer plants and factories. Besides our own team, the teamwork and support from different departments is key—and it’s part of the collaborative culture.
