Pavan joined Praxair India in 2004 as Manager - Financial Planning & Advisory Since then, he has worn many hats with various key roles in Praxair India Pvt. Ltd. In 2013, he moved from Bangalore to take up the role of Finance Director at Praxair Middle East, UAE. Over his time in Praxair India and Middle East, Pavan has had several controllership responsibilities and assists in formulating financial strategy and support tactical business initiatives to improve growth. He has also been instrumental in maintaining relations with external parties, evaluating Capital Expenditures and risk management (insurance, legal & audit). As a Director for Middle-East Joint Ventures, he has been responsible for improving financial performance and shaping key initiatives in the region.

M.V Pavan was appointed Vice President (Finance & GPMM) - Praxair India in June 2018.
